Services

The Ferveo solution set revolves around the actual implementation of shelf-level technology. In addition to the standard use of sensors to provide real-time item and shelf-level data, we offer the following services that can be implemented on a one-time or ongoing basis:

1) Ferveo Promotional Display Effectiveness Gauge. This involves placing our sensors on promotional displays for a sample set of stores for a defined period of time. As a result of the data collected from the display sensors, manufacturers and retailers are able to judge the effectiveness of the display as compared to the actual shelf.

2) Ferveo Out-of-Stock Gauge. This study results in a calculation of the total losses experienced as a result of out-of-stocks. The study can be done by category across a set of stores and results in determining the size of the loss experienced in the store as a result of the out-of-stocks and highlights the specific items experiencing the out-of-stocks.

3) Ferveo Item Rotation Study. This service is geared towards highlighting gaps in item rotation in produce and other relevant parts of the store. The study can be done across a sample set of stores.

4) Ferveo Replenishment Study. This study highlights the actual replenishment cycles experienced in the store, ranging from Direct Store Delivery (DSD) to warehouse delivered products. The study highlights the effectiveness of the replenishment cycles as compared to the actual stock levels on the shelf. This study is done across a major part of the store. For example, the center store is handled all at once, while the produce area is handled separately.

5) Ferveo Theft Loss Prevention Study. This study is geared towards checking and preventing theft in certain key categories and items. Ferveo sensor data is used to determine when each individual item is picked. The data is then cross-referenced with video surveillance streams (provided through our partners in the video analytics space) and data from the actual check-out scanner to determine if the individual item has been checked out. This study results in determining the extent of theft by item, the time of day and week when theft occurs most frequently, and can also provide images of people responsible for the theft.

6) Ferveo Planogram Effectiveness Study. This study looks at the individual depletion rates of the actual items and determines efficacy of the actual planograms, highlighting items that may require more or less facing or linear shelf space.
